Barre Class is a great way to lose weight, get firm and tone…fast! Fitness on the Water offers the most popular Barre Classes on the shoreline with highly experienced, much loved instructors with many years experience, a wealth of knowledge – and a ton of fun!

This is a full body workout for people who aspire for the long lean muscles of ballet dancers. It is a low impact class utilizing the ballet barre and other training techniques for strength, flexibility and alignment. This is guaranteed to be a unique, fun, inspiring and highly effective class that fills up quickly with waiting lists – register early!!

This is a full body workout which uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Light handheld weights are used to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.
