Barre Classes with Susan rock! Saturdays 9:30am & Mondays 10:30am!

What’s a barre? It’s the stationary handrail that ballet dancers use for their workouts to develop lean muscle, strength, flexibility and beautiful, healthy, well-aligned posture.

This low impact, full-body workout is ideal for beginner and advanced exercisers as well as athletes in search of cross training, injury prevention and injury recovery.

Susan Connelly, with prior ballet experience with Alvin Ailey and Joffrey ballet companies, shares her own combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates. The barre helps with balance during isometric strength training with repetitions of small range-of-motion movements.
