Peggy Chappell, LCSW
Peggy Chappell is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years professional experience as a clinician, educator, and coach.
She has worked with children, families, and teachers as a clinician at Yale New Haven Hospital and the Yale Child Study Center and as a school administrator at The Country School in Madison. She is trained in the field of positive psychology and the science of well-being. In addition to completing the program in “Positive Psychology Coaching” through the Whole Being Institute, she has served as teaching assistant for the “Crafting the Resilient Life” course of study through Kripalu Center for Health. During her years as caregiver for her elderly mother, Peggy completed C.A.R.E.S. Level I certification in dementia care through the Alzheimer’s Association.
Peggy brings together her training and experience along with wisdom and compassion to serve parents, caregivers, teachers and anyone navigating the challenges of life and seeking greater well-being. In addition to individual coaching, she offers groups for those in the caregiving role, workshops for parents and teachers, and consultation to schools and organizations.
